SARAH SPOHN EPORTFOLIO
"Words are so powerful they should only be used to bless, to heal, and to prosper."

THE FUTURE
"So what are you going to do with that?" is the most common response I get to me being an English major. Just recently has my response been taking shape.
TANGIBLE STEPS
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my soul" Psalm 143:7
Teaching, Learning, & Culture Master's Program
Post graduation in May 2018, I plan on attending graduate school at A&M. This would look like taking classes in the summer that would be the equivalent to "teaching boot camp." In the fall, I would have my own classroom in any public school in the state of Texas, with full-time salary and benefits, starting the first step to my career as a teacher.

Teaching in a Classroom: Internationally or Domestically
At this point, I do not necessarily want to spend the rest of my life teaching in a public school classroom in the state of Texas. I would love to live overseas at some point in my life and use teaching as a tangible tool to help others.

REFLECTING ON TIME SPENT AT A&M
These years at A&M have shaped me in more ways than I can realize, in all areas: academically, professionally, and socially. I have learned a lot both in and outside of the classroom.
Ultimately, I have learned the importance of caring for the person right in front of you. Grades will come and go, as will opportunities. People will come and go too. But each human being is a little piece of eternity, sitting right beside you. The lesson I most wish to take with me from my time at A&M is that each person deserves to be seen.
